Why use Mettle Plus EMT oil additive?
There are a lot of products on the market today claiming to be "Metal Treatments", but how many of them are Chlorine Free?
Current lab testing results show that when adding Chlorinated Paraffin or Chlorinated Olefins to a base oil, no physical damage will occur, but chemical makeup of the oil will change manufacture's specs of Phosphorus, Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium and other important detergents to be reduced by volume, which in return will not pass OEM factory specs. Also these types of additives can cause acid formations which in return, cause internal component damage and pitting.
Make sure not to use those so called Oil Stabilizer products or Ceramic Base products, they will change the physical properties of your oils and may cause viscosity issues with your fuel system and or oil pressure recommendations.
Mettle Plus has been tested and proven to work in wind-mill gear boxes to help reduce operating temperatures as well as reduce wear metals when doing oil analysis.
Proven to be compatible with leading manufacture of windmill gear oil Renolin Unisyn CLP 320, no fall out, no separation and no chlorine.
Mettle Plus is safe to use on all types of rubber seals passing the SAE J2643 seal test with flying colors.
A quality Metal treatment is designed to interact with metal surfaces in a molecular and chemical process to create a protective buffer on the surface of the metal. This is not a film or coating over the metal.
Molecules in the metal treatment are polarized and actually bond with the metal surface. Mettle Plus molecules are activated by extreme pressure and heat, meaning that the metal treatment performs best right where it is needed most!
The result is significantly reduced harmful friction and heat.
High oil temperatures accelerate oxidation of the engine oil and the formation of acids, peroxide, carbon residue, sludge and varnish formations. As oil temperature rises, oxidation takes place, the oil becomes increasingly corrosive, and oil viscosity decreases resulting in a loss of lubrication.
Certain metal conditioners help reduce heat so that the oil can maintain maximum protection, performance, and film strength.
Mettle Plus can be used in engine applications, (racing or everyday driving), gear applications and an excellent camshaft break-in lube.
Mettle Plus is used by today's top racers protecting 10,000+ Horse Power Engines, protecting from the wear and tear as they do over 300 mph down the 1/4 mile track.
Mettle Plus EMT is also a great additive to use when breaking in a camshaft for those street car and race car applications. Designed to protect your camshaft from failing in today's low Zinc oils.
When ZDDP is not an option, Mettle Plus EMT will work great for protecting your valve train. Mettle Plus EMT is used by racers across the nation and has been proven for years to protect those high horsepower engines.
Don't let this happen to you, add CleanBoost EMT to your oil today for maximum protection.
Failed Camshaft from lack of ZDDP, MettlePlus EMT could have prevented this from happening!
Mettle Plus EMT is compatible with most motor oils on the market. Mineral or Synthetic, it does not matter, Mettle Plus EMT will work with your oil.
Many companies are adding our Mettle Plus EMT to their manual transmissions, differentials and other gear-boxes to reduce heat and extend component life.
Make sure if using a competitive additive that it will stay in suspension and not fall out as seen in the picture below:

Mettle Plus barrier protection metal to metal surfaces
Mettle Plus EMT (Engine Metal Treatment) was designed with the end user in mind and to help protect their engines, manual transmissions, gear boxes, differentials and more from high temperatures, acid build up and wear.
Mettle Plus's technology can be used as a pour in additive to help protect your engine and also is available in leading oils such as Mettle Plus Performance Motor Oils and Z-Alt Muscle Car Motor Oils.
Mettle Plus is used by top drag racing teams in the NHRA Full Throttle Series as well as IHRA Top Sportsman class and No-Box ET drivers through the USA and Canada.
Engine oils, transmission fluids, and gear oils are lubricants designed to provide a film barrier between metal surfaces that are rubbing together. The greater the film strength, or EP rating, the better the oil and or lubricant.
However, in extreme pressure metal-to-metal areas, the film strength of oil is seriously thinned and is often completely depleted due to clearances and sub-micron barriers that create heat and friction. Mettle Plus can be added to engine oils, gear oils and manual transmission oils.

Mettle Plus™ (Metal Treatment) using moly based technology can help with the reduction of ZDDP's in today's engine oils.
Mettle Plus™ has stabilizing anti-oxidant's and very unique metal deactivators to assure that Mettle Plus™ performs well in engine applications and gear oils applications not changing the chemical make up of the oil.
The oil acts like a delivery truck carrying the Mettle Plus ™ to the asperities of the metals and forming a covalent, galvanic bond to the metal allowing a 2 to 4 micron penetration into the metal, creating a smooth less friction and heat. Mettle Plus™ does not layer the metal or put a film over the top of the metal, it is designed to penetrate the surface of the metal working with ferrous particulates within the oils environment, it treats the metal, not the oil.
Racing teams agree that when using Mettle Plus in their high horse power engines, that wear debris and engine wear are reduced as well as temperatures and acid build up. Diesel engines in trucking and mining also benefit from reduce wear allowing the equipment to last longer, operate smoother and reduce oil change intervals.
Oil analysis has proven that when adding Mettle Plus to your lubricants, reduce cylinder and bearing wear are achieved and component life can be extended 3 to 5 times longer. Reduced oxidation on the oil will also allow for longer engine and component life.
